For a chance to be in the next report, join in the action every Saturday and Sunday at 21GMT and 19GMT respectively on the DSGaming.net server. Also, make sure to stay tuned, as we have a big content update on the way as well as a new contest for our fans.
The After-Action Report Video is a brain-child of Safe-Keeper, leader of our newly formed Media Team. This team, we hope, will in the future be able to provide new and innovative ways to keep you all up-to-date with the action going on not only on the front lines, but behind the scenes here at First Strike. If you think you have a talent that could be beneficial to the team, please get in touch with Safe-Keeper via the forums or email at mediateam at fsmod.com
Nice video, but for the next one could you have the names of the individual players floating above their heads as in the game. Also, it would be good if the narrator would comment on actions done by specific players.

Thanks for putting this together Safe. I think that the vid is a little slow, but the analysis is good. Perhaps some more 1st person viewpoints during critical moments might help.

Imperial put the vid together, safe put the script in (which I had to edit on the spot a little with my terrible narrating :P)
Filming from 1st person has been thought of, however as we record these AAR's from CG BattleRecorder files, it means one or more players running fraps during their whole CG, which is very annoying and resource eating for the filmers.
There is the alternative of "replicating" what happens ingame with our own actors after, however this isn't really true to the fundamentals of an AAR...

i remember this last scene when we were hiding at those crates constantly reviving when i ended up with a DEMP and heroicly tried to bunnyhop towards that tank
we were getting owned so hard... i didnt even recognize the squad on the barge
anyways, it was very funny and nice to see that you put this together, if needed i might also do some ingame filming next time
