| It is with great pleasure I announce to you today the latest of developments in the realm of FirstStrike. If any of you have launched your game today, you'll notice we've released a new update. In an effort to populate servers and allow our community to grow, we are changing our direction in order to cater to a less specific and much larger audience. This means including a lot of things that in the past we said we would never do, but we believe it ultimately to be for the best, with this recent push to grow our population.
So, within this update, what you'll find is the following:
- All maps include hero kits within the standard kit selection:
-- you can now choose to play as a Jedi (Rebellion) in any round.
-- you can now choose to play as a Bounty Hunter (Empire) in any round.
