Upcoming First Strike event

Greetings Troopers!

Next Wednesday your training will be put to the test, in the biggest organized First Strike event yet! The INTER-CLAN WAR. The first event encompassing all of the best players in First Strike, the I-CW will be held at 10PM BST, 5PM EST on August 19th.
BlackIntel has participated and helped to organize I-CWs for some of its other supported games, and is now looking to include First Strike as well. The rules are as follows.

There will be 2 maps played, one round on each map. Both teams will be randomized so it is pure luck of the draw on who you fight with. A larger delay time will be put into effect to allow teams to organize themselves before the game begins. These games are designed to be pretty short, and once they are over the server gets unlocked and anyone who wishes gets to jump into a public game to start telling their tales of victory.

As this is an organized and highly competitive event, there will be some ground rules participants must follow. Everyone playing must be in Ventrilo BEFORE entering the game so we can welcome everyone and give out the password to the server. The server WILL be locked, so being in Ventrilo is absolutely necessary. If you need help getting in Ventrilo, or you want to know the connection details, please go here: LINK.
In addition, despite the name, EVERYONE is invited, not just clan members. So, if you think you have the stuff, you'd better be there to prove it!

If this event is successful, I-CWs will be held at regular (and easier to manage) times. These games have proven to be a good way of getting players to interact with each other more, and are a good way to make sure everyone stays friendly.
